Linocut is a relief printmaking technique similar to woodcut.

In this workshop, learn to transfer an image onto a special sheet of artist-grade linoleum and then hand carve the surface of the block which will be inked and printed using our Vandercook proof press to achieve easy registration. A reductive carving process will be used to produce a multi-color print.

PROJECT: 6” x 8” reductive carved block [Up to 3 color] printed on an 8” x 10” [Up to an edition of 15]

WORKSHOP INCLUDES:

• All necessary supplies to include tools, ink, paper, and materials

• Partial [50%] Refund: Monday prior to the workshop - 11:59pm
